Tunnel Radio achieves “MOTOSTAR” Status – Tunnel Radio of America is pleased to announce that it has achieved “MOTOSTAR” Motorola Dealer status for results attained in the 2008 Motorola Dealer Excellence Program. Chris Billups, Senior Sales Engineer, attributes this success to the introduction, superior performance and customer acceptance of Motorola’s new MSHA approved HT750 handheld portable radio for use in underground coal mines. In addition, Tunnel Radio found great success in the design, sales and implementation of a Motorola “MOTOTRBO“ Digital Radio System for underground mine use at a new Nevada hard rock gold mine owned by the world’s largest gold mining company.
