Carmeuse Lime and Stone Group extends relationship with Tunnel Radio of America

The Carmeuse Lime and Stone Group of Carmeuse North America has extended their existing relationship with Tunnel Radio of America by selecting a TR-500 Ultracomm Underground Radio Communication System for installation and use at their Cisco Mine facility near Cisco, Georgia. Operating at Ultra High Frequencies, the TR-500 system has the advantage of superior lateral coverage underground. This maximizes mine radio coverage while minimizing the installed infrastructure requirements. The system will be used to enhance the safety of underground workers and to improve the operational efficiency of the mine.
