Radio tests have confirmed that these new bands offer great advantages over lower frequency systems due to their ability to transmit great distances including around corners, in confined spaces, and beyond barriers.
UltraComm TR-500D – 500 MHz systems provide vastly improved obstruction passage over older VHF technologies. Parked equipment, belts, or shields will stop VHF signals DEAD where the powerful compact UHF wave will pass on ensuring the best possible link. In most installations, UltraComm provides 100 – 500% more coverage than competitive systems.

In the event of an Emergency…
UltraComm compatible portable radios employ an emergency alert feature that may be initiated from the portable or mine wide from the dispatcher.
